DETAILS
This doubles class will involve one hour of instruction followed by one hour of doubles play for 7 weeks. Each week will focus on a different stroke:
Forehand, Backhand, Forehand Volley, Backhand Volley, Slice, Serve and Return of serve, Lob and Overhead. The instructor will work on correcting form and grips along with working on stroke consistency and directional control.
Where?: Waveland Tennis Courts. They are located at Lake Shore Drive off of either Recreation Drive or Irving Park Road. The class runs 8:30-10:30pm every Tuesday for seven weeks
Parking?: There is meter parking surrounding the courts.
What equipment will I need?: You will need to have either tennis shoes or some sort of shoes that have a flat bottom, without tread. We also encourage you to wear something different on your feet than what you will play in. You will also need to have your own racket.
What if I cannot make it?: The first option is to find someone to sub. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way to make up the class if you cannot find a sub and cannot make it.
What is the format?: The format for the tennis program is one hour of drills & instruction followed by one hour of shared doubles play.
What if there is really bad weather?: If there is conflict ever we may cancel. We will get in touch with you via text message if there is a cancellation. You can also call our weather hotline at 312-733-7100 and you will be given the instructors phone number the first night as well. It is important that we have your cell phone number in case of a cancellation.

Players, if you are on a team in this Tennis league, but not showing up on the roster, click Join Existing Team. Only request to join a team you are sure you belong to. Your captain will receive a notification when you request to join the team, and when they accept your registration, you will receive a confirmation email.
